A Very Special Halloween Presentation from Action Camp!

For our perennial fall project we recorded and filmed a cover of Sparks' 'Sherlock Holmes', a deeper cut from their classic 1982 album Angst In My Pants. This is our little love letter to a band who has meant so much to us over the years and it warms our arty weirdo hearts to see them finally getting their due this year.

This was shot on location at Scarehouse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. More specifically in the "Demon Hour" creaky house and church which are the perfect backdrop for a tale of someone desperately trying to emulate the wit and charm of Sherlock Holmes to win the hand of another.

The three of us shot this in the off hours one evening with just an iPhone, a Bluetooth speaker and some creative lighting solutions. Extra special thanks to the Scarehouse and the build team for permission and their insanely creative and detailed set.
